Aspire to Lead

Since starting school here at Rutgers University-Camden, I've had many amazing opportunities. I was selected to represent Philadelphia Metro at PwC's LIVE Aspire to Lead global webcast in Hollywood, California on February 17th! I was PwC's VIP guest and studio audience member at their LIVE Aspire to lead broadcast. I walked the red carpet at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The event opened with an inspirational keynote from Geena Davis on the empowerment and advancement of women. Michael Fenlon, PwC's Global Talent Leader, led a panel discussion with Geena as well as Dawn Hudson, CEO of the Academy, Jennifer Yuh Nelson, Academy Award nominee and director, and Peter Yobo, Advisory Senior Associate from PwC's US business, to examine the parallels between gender portrayals in the media and the role of women in the workplace. It was an awesome opportunity to be a part of this gender equality awareness forum. I also landed a summer internship with the company starting in June!
