I would like to give a big shout out to the wonderful EOF staff and Trio staff at Rutgers University-Camden. Attending the First Generation Summit at Williams College has given me the opportunities that not a lot of students were able to experience. Being involved at Rutgers University-Camden as a Raptor Ambassador Orientation Leader, LGBTQ Ally, Member of RHA (Residence Hall Association) has provided me the tools to reach out towards students of all backgrounds. What I can take from this wonderful experience is to actually realize that there are so many leaders that are making a difference at their Schools of Higher Education. This quote basically means that if you want something in life you will have to go out and get it with the support from your family, Friends, and your elders.
